Indiana covered bridge scrapboard detail
Here, I brushed the Milk Paint brand crackle over the paint and then painted over with the white paint. I am stoked about the results. I was inspired to paint the blue - as you are seeing through the covered bridge to the other side - by sky paintings from Santa Fe, New Mexico. There are such incredible artworks there, and Santa Fe is surely the art capital of North America. I have decided I REALLY like painting on wood. My big board and I have become aquainted.
Carol Labashosky's Barking Dog Enterprises is an art idea company featuring Scrapboarding, a unique form of fine art collage where themes materialize in 3-D. Scrapboarding combines paint, photos and memorabilia affixed to boards in dramatic vibrant compositions. Visit my studio and gallery at Mellwood Arts Center, 1860 Mellwood
