You know I get water in my studio once in a while. Some of the water had splashed onto some tissue paper I use for packaging up orders. I pulled out the tissue sheets and noted that they had dried with the colors mixing together creating a dyed ink blot like design, blue onto yellow, purple onto blue. The affect provided both an interesting crinkled texture and new color mixes.
Thus, "South Beach" was born. This is my first abstract piece of fine art scrapboarding, and I'm having a ball!!! I'm investigating sea glass - none of that to be found on the banks of the Ohio River - next.
Have a super weeknd, all!
