Back to the easel with ocean sand dunes

I've been engaged with the business and marketing end of Barking Dog Enterprises, but now that's over for a spell, and I can pick up the paintbrush again. Ahhhh. Relief. First, I painted the background a bluish grey. I then used several different palette knvies playing around with colors like browns and tans to capture and highlight the sand. This is a small painting an 8 x 10 incher. I'm not used to working with such a small format. I'm excited to see where this will go. There's a man who will enter stage left...
