Artist Carol Labashosky has a fine art exhibition on display at the Meidinger Tower gallery, 462 S. 4th Street, Louisville, Ky. from Feb. 1-April 30. Labashosky is the creator of Scrapboarding, a fine art collage, where images and objects in the boards or canvas materialize in 3-D. Fifteen pieces of artwork are on display. Materials used in the assemblage include fine art photographs, scenes from Italy and colorful Hawaii, a large piece on Indiana covered bridges and a layered board on the Smokey Mountains. This exhibit also features two new creative pieces on the Titanic whose prolific 100-year final voyage anniversary occurs in April.
Carol Labashosky's Barking Dog Enterprises is an art idea company featuring Scrapboarding, a unique form of fine art collage where themes materialize in 3-D. Scrapboarding combines paint, photos and memorabilia affixed to boards in dramatic vibrant compositions. Visit my studio and gallery at Mellwood Arts Center, 1860 Mellwood
