Titanic II Scrapboard

Interestingly, the night the Titanic sunk, two wireless operators in the Marconi room tapped out messages to nearby ships calling for aid. The Californian, fairly close by, failed to pick up on them. The Carpathia, much farther away, received the messages and rushed to Titanic's position to help. But alas, the ship had already sunk. Even so, a rescue effort ensued. I chose themes like messages, preserving life and the two gentlemen who tried their best that cold night in April of 1912 to save lives calling for help. See if you can figure out what some of items represent!

The scrapboard contains memorabilia, a coat of beeswax, blue ink, and a mini replica life jacket from the era make of deer hide.
