Art Squared Event - Louisville Visual Art
I participated in last week's Art Squared exhibit. All artists painted or created an 8 x 8 inch canvas and each artwork was for sale. Proceeds will support art classes for children sponsored by Louisville Visual Arts. My fine artwork was a take on Frank Lloyd Wright's stain glass window designs used in the Willet House, Chicago. This was a fun event to participate in. I enjoyed looking at all the artists work -- more than 300 artworks were displayed.
Carol Labashosky's Barking Dog Enterprises is an art idea company featuring Scrapboarding, a unique form of fine art collage where themes materialize in 3-D. Scrapboarding combines paint, photos and memorabilia affixed to boards in dramatic vibrant compositions. Visit my studio and gallery at Mellwood Arts Center, 1860 Mellwood
