New Fine Art Scrapboard "Foliage" coming along nicely!

Greetings friends,
"Foliage" fine art will soon be complete. I have been using a flowered masking tape to add interest and designs to the piece.  The handmade paper leaves also lend a nice touch. The scrapboard is made with acrylic paints. I have been fortunate to have time to go to my art studio twice per week, and I really have enjoyed working on my plant scrapboards. There are two more in the series that I will be posting pictures of. Enjoy.

Midwestern Barn Painting

Today, I began anew on a bright white canvas. I used gesso first to prime the canvas for acrylic paints. It was helpful to have a photo of a barn since I haven't gone outside yet this year to plein air paint.
