New Fine Art Scrapboard "Foliage" coming along nicely!

Greetings friends,
"Foliage" fine art will soon be complete. I have been using a flowered masking tape to add interest and designs to the piece.  The handmade paper leaves also lend a nice touch. The scrapboard is made with acrylic paints. I have been fortunate to have time to go to my art studio twice per week, and I really have enjoyed working on my plant scrapboards. There are two more in the series that I will be posting pictures of. Enjoy.

Green Foliage Scrapboard moves along nicely

Greetings friends!
Today, I worked in acrylic paints on my new scrapboard titled "Foliage." I am using green beads, green acrylic paints and green handmade paper. The paper is used to form some leaves and the paint comprises the blades of grass and sprouts. I''m really enjoying using bright green paint in the middle of winter as it helps to alleviate the blues and drab surroundings outside.

Green handmade paper is cut to form leaves on this fine art scrapboard.
